The option CSV has 10 fields, and name must come before item
The current format is Product ID, registration type, Option name 1, Option name 2, Option ID, model number, stock, optimal stock, price and member price.
The checker validates all 10 columns and verifies that each product starts with a `name` row before its `item` rows.
The name-before-item order is not cosmetic; it changes update behavior. When editing an exported file, keep each Product ID group together and preserve the name row position while changing only the needed item rows.
Putting item before name can delete option items during an update
ColorMe explicitly warns that reversing the name/item order can prevent a normal update and remove option items.
That ordering mistake is therefore treated as an error, not a cosmetic warning.
Treat the result as a preflight check, not a guarantee that the platform will accept the upload. Account state and current admin settings can add conditions that a browser-only checker cannot prove.
There are two limits: 300 products and 10,000 records
Product count and CSV row count are separate. A file with many option combinations can stay under 300 products while approaching 10,000 rows.
The checker counts distinct Product IDs and data records independently.
name and item rows use the remaining columns differently
On a `name` row, Option ID, model, stock and price fields are not needed and are not applied. Item rows carry the combination-level values.
If CSV structure itself is uncertain, run the comma / quote checker first.
