ColorMe customer bulk registration uses 19 fields and up to 1,000 rows
The customer import is a fixed 19-field format with a 1,000-record limit. It is for bulk registration, not bulk customer updates.
This checker validates the shape and count first.
A correct 19-field shape still does not turn this into a customer-update tool. Some blank coded fields receive defaults, so blank does not always mean “leave unspecified.” Review those choices before upload.
Postal code, gender and newsletter preference use coded formats
Postal code is seven ASCII digits; gender uses 0/1/2; newsletter preference uses 0/1. Email and phone fields also have basic syntax rules.
The checker catches clear format mismatches before upload.
Treat the result as a preflight check, not a guarantee that the platform will accept the upload. Account state and current admin settings can add conditions that a browser-only checker cannot prove.
Blank does not mean the same thing in every field
ColorMe documents defaults for some optional codes: blank gender becomes male, while blank newsletter preference becomes opt-out.
Those blanks are not treated as generic errors; confirm that the default is intentional.
Customer CSV is a different format from product CSV
The 59/60-column product rules do not apply to the 19-field customer import.
Use the ColorMe product CSV checker for product data.
