Calculate elapsed time between two clock times, including overnight.
Calculate elapsed time from a start and end clock time. If the end is earlier than the start, the basic calculator automatically treats the end as occurring on the next day, so 22:30 → 01:15 works without a date field.
If you actually mean 01:15 to 22:30 on the same day, enter those times in that order.

Only clock times are entered, so a period spanning two or more full days cannot be distinguished. Use a date-aware calculator when the calendar date itself matters.
The extra calculation on the page lets you mark the end as next day and subtract a break in minutes. That is more useful for net working time than the simple start/end result.
A duration such as 2 h 45 min is also shown as 165 minutes, which is easier to sum across tasks or feed into hourly-rate and scheduling calculations.
