The first file contributes the output header; later files contribute data rows only. This avoids repeated header lines in the middle of the merged data.
The tool does not sort by ID or date after merging. It appends files in the selected order and preserves row order within each file.
Leading/trailing whitespace around header cells is ignored during the compatibility check and the output header is trimmed. Data cells themselves are not cleaned.
Combine twelve monthly sales exports or same-format inventory files from several stores. Compare the final data-row count with the sum you expected before using the merged file.
