PREFLIGHT CHECK

WooCommerce Published value CSV checker

Validate WooCommerce Published values as 1, 0, -1, 2, true or false.

Check CSV

🔒 Analysis runs in your browser; the file itself is not sent to BlueprintLab.

What this tool checks

  • 1/0/-1/2 statuses
  • true / false
  • Unsupported values

What it cannot determine

This unofficial checker covers only rules that can be verified in the browser. Live account settings, remote server state and later service-side validation remain authoritative.

0 means private, not draft

WooCommerce Published values map as `1`=published, `0`=private, `-1`=draft, and `2`=pending review. `true` also means published and `false` means draft.

That `0` mapping is easy to misread when editing CSV by hand.

A missing Published column is a warning, not a blanket CSV failure

Without Published, this checker cannot validate product status, but it does not label the whole CSV invalid just because the column is absent. A blank cell is also a warning because the intended status is unclear.

Unsupported nonblank values are errors.

How to read the result

Fix ERROR values to one of the supported forms. For WARNING, first decide whether publication state is supposed to be part of this import at all.

If you are updating unrelated fields, WooCommerce import mapping and the selected update scope matter more than adding columns just to silence a checker.

Published is only one part of sellability

A published product can still be affected by stock, catalog visibility, and price. If inventory is relevant, also use the WooCommerce stock/backorders checker.

This tool intentionally stays narrow and checks only Published semantics.
