How to use it

Add the same prefix and/or suffix to every line of text. It is useful for bullets, quotes, simple code fragments or any repetitive wrapper text.

  1. Enter one item per line.
  2. Put the leading text in Prefix and the trailing text in Suffix.
  3. Select Convert and review the transformed lines.

Turn three lines into Markdown bullets in one pass

With apple, banana and orange on separate lines, the default prefix - turns all three into Markdown-style bullet lines.

Blank lines are processed too. If an empty line remains in the input, the prefix and suffix are still written onto that line.

Prefix goes before the line; suffix goes after it

The tool does not interpret the content. It simply concatenates fixed strings around every line, making it predictable for repetitive formatting.

Text inside the line is left alone

Adding quote characters as a prefix or suffix does not search and replace matching characters inside the line. The original line remains the middle portion.

Blank lines are deliberately preserved

Empty lines are not removed automatically. That keeps the same line structure, but it also means wrapper text can appear on an otherwise empty line.

Useful for simple code preparation

You can wrap each line in quotes or append commas for a quick intermediate format. The tool does not validate a programming language, so check the final syntax in the target context.
