PREFLIGHT CHECK

Mercari Shops bulk update CSV preflight checker

Check product IDs, SKU IDs and multi-column requirements for inventory and image updates before upload.

Check CSV

🔒 Analysis runs in your browser. The CSV file itself is not uploaded to BlueprintLab.

What this tool checks

  • Product ID presence
  • Five required fields for SKU stock changes
  • SKU_ID for SKU information changes
  • Image update flag and image name pairing
  • Row/header column count

What this tool cannot verify

The tool does not claim to verify live service-side master data, account-specific state, or network reachability that cannot be established reliably in-browser. The service’s own validation remains authoritative.

You can omit unrelated fields, but some updates require a set

A product-name-only change can use Product ID plus the changed field. SKU inventory is different: Product ID, SKU ID, current stock, delta flag, and delta quantity must be provided together for the same SKU slot.

“Unchanged fields can be omitted” does not mean dependent fields can be split apart.

SKU1 through SKU10 are matched by number

SKU1 inventory fields are matched to SKU1_ID, SKU2 to SKU2_ID, and so on. The checker no longer assumes that array position equals SKU identity.

Flags are validated as 1/2, delta quantities as positive unsigned integers, and SKU-detail edits require the matching SKU ID.

Image changes also have dependencies

If an image name is changed, the product-image update flag is also required. The CSV relationship can be checked locally, but whether an image was uploaded successfully remains a service-side concern.

This keeps CSV dependency validation separate from image-file availability.

How to read the result

ERROR covers missing Product ID, incomplete SKU dependencies, invalid inventory flag/quantity, and similar structural problems. Current guidance allows up to 10,000 products per bulk change, so the checker also flags an over-limit file.

For inventory-only diagnosis, use the inventory delta checker.
